Transfers: Cancellations more than 24 hours in advance receive an 80% refund; within 24 hours, no refund is issued.
Day Tours: Cancellations over 24 hours in advance are fully refunded; within 24 hours, no refund is provided.
Customized Tours: Cancellations over 72 hours in advance are fully refunded; within 72 hours, no refund is provided.
What is the waiting time policy for pickups?
Drivers wait up to 60 minutes at airports, 30 minutes at ports, and 20 minutes at hotels. Extra waiting time can be arranged for an additional fee.
What luggage can I bring?
Standard luggage includes one suitcase (max. 100L) or medium-large backpack. Additional items like strollers or sports equipment must be declared at booking.
Are CarBuddy’s services insured?
Yes, CarBuddy is fully licensed and insured through the Icelandic Tourist Board.
Are refunds impacted by currency changes?
Refunds are issued in ISK, and CarBuddy is not responsible for exchange rate differences.
