Where do we depart from?

All tours depart from Reykjavík Domestic Airport (located near the Perlan/city center), NOT Keflavík International Airport. It is a short 5-10 minute taxi ride from downtown hotels.

What should I wear for the helicopter tour?

The most important item is good, sturdy footwear (hiking or winter boots), regardless of the season, as we often land on uneven, snowy, or rocky mountain peaks.

In Summer: A light jacket is usually sufficient for the landing.
In Winter: Please wear warm layers. While it is comfortable and warm inside the helicopter, the temperature in the highlands and on glaciers is lower than in Reykjavík.
Note: You can store large winter coats in the baggage compartment during the flight to stay comfortable in your seat.

Can I plan a marriage proposal on this tour?

Absolutely! Let us know in advance, and we can help organize the perfect moment. We can plan to land in a secluded spot where you will be alone. You decide the style: the pilot can step away to give you total privacy while you pop the question, or casually hang around to capture the moment with your camera. Just tell us your preference, and we will make it happen.
