Yes! It is kept at -10°C (14°F) to maintain the ice structure. Don’t worry – Perlan provides warm vests/ponchos at the entrance to the cave, so you don’t need to bring Arctic gear just for this.

Perlan is fantastic for kids. It is highly interactive, visual, and educational. They love the ice cave. It’s one of the most family-friendly activities in Reykjavík.

It’s easy. You can take a taxi (5-10 mins) or public bus (Line 18). Walking takes about 30-40 minutes uphill through the forest.

Yes! That is the beauty of the Planetarium. The Áróra show runs year-round during opening hours, guaranteeing you a glimpse of the lights even under the Midnight Sun.
