In this unique workshop, you will design and create your very own Icelandic Wool Monster (known locally as Skrímsli). Whether you make him grumpy, happy, or three-eyed, he will be 100% yours.

Do I need a driving license?
Yes. To drive an ATV or Buggy, you must have a valid physical driving license with you (a photo on a phone is usually not accepted). Passengers do not need a license but must meet the age requirement (usually 6+ years).
What does "Shared Ride" vs. "Solo Ride" mean?
The standard price usually assumes 2 people on one bike (Shared Ride). If you want to drive alone, or if you are an odd number in your group (e.g., 3, 5 people), you must select the „Solo Rider” option when booking to secure a bike just for yourself.
Is it safe for beginners?
Absolutely. These tours are designed for first-timers. Before every ride, expert guides provide full safety gear (warm overalls, helmets, gloves) and a detailed tutorial on how to operate the vehicle.
Where is the pickup?
Pickup starts about 30-60 minutes before the tour. Please note that due to city regulations, big adventure vehicles often cannot pick up directly from downtown hotels. You may be asked to walk to the nearest designated Bus Stop (e.g., Bus Stop 1 – City Hall). Check your ticket for details.
Will I get cold or dirty?
Probably! That’s part of the fun. The operators provide warm, windproof, and waterproof overalls, helmets, and gloves, so your own clothes stay clean underneath. However, we recommend wearing sturdy shoes you don’t mind getting a little dusty.
